Rolling Out Route4Me

Rolling out software across a company that keeps acquiring companies is the part most operators dread. SCA ran it in three phases.

Sites that already had a routing tool moved easily. Sites coming off paper needed more. Paper routing leans on one person with good local geography, and taking that away is a change even when the new thing is better.

The data moved cleanly. Bill Mosher watched customers and stops import from the old system and calls it flawless.

Wayman Howell drives and trains drivers. Route4Me is the first thing he teaches. One trainee told him it beat a GPS.

Now the playbook is inherited. When SCA acquires a company, the routing process already exists.

Migration fear stops most operators. Episode 6 of eight shows what it looks like when it does not.
