Inside SCA's Last Mile - Ditching Manual Routing

Vinnie Granby dispatches New Jersey for Sweeping Corporation of America and has been dispatching since 2022. Before Route4Me, building a route meant entering addresses into a mapping app one at a time, plotting each location by hand, and working out the order himself. It took an extensive amount of time. Then two drivers called out on the same day. Vinnie went into Route4Me, restructured the routes, and the crew still covered every job that needed to be covered. That is the difference between a plan on paper and a plan that survives the morning. Vinnie can do it from a laptop, a tablet, or a phone, at his desk or nowhere near it. Routing now takes a fraction of the day it used to, which hands the rest of that time back to the parts of the job only he can do. He is not going back to manual routing.
